These pictures are from a recent shower I co-hosted for my darling best friend, Ashley. Her wedding is this coming weekend in Italy so the shower was a Taste of Italy for all those unable to make it halfway around the globe.
A few things:
1) I used terra cotta pots for the food containers – a breakaway from the normal crystal, fine china, and lace tablecloth showers you might be used to.
2) The cannoli are from the “so good they’ll make your taste buds dance and sing” authentic Napoli pizzeria Antico. If you haven’t been there yet go sink your teeth into some cheesy perfection and finish it off with a scrumptious cannoli!
3) The pictures were taken by the loveable and oh-so talented Joshua Holcombe. (muah!)

Did you put something in the pots, before putting the food in them?
I didn’t, Kristin. I did wash them really well, and let them dry, though. If you wanted to put something in them, cling wrap would work well.
